The alert inspection tool allows you to consult archives containing traces of alerts sent, facilitating follow-up with customers who complain that they did not receive an alert before the arrival of an operator, for example. The tool indicates the date, time, alert format and recipient for each alert sent.
To access it, go to Tools > Inspection (Alerts). The search engine at the top of the page lets you choose the date on which the alert was sent, and the "Search" field is used to identify the recipient of the alert using one of following three methods: e-mail address, phone number (10 digits, no hyphen or brackets) or a contract number. In the latter case, it is imperative to include the # sign before entering the contract number.
The results page
The search result for the specified alert appears with the page adjusted to display information on the contract searched. It may be useful to first consult the alert triggering details located at the top of the results section.
First, you'll find the name of the route where the contract in question is located. This is followed by when alerts were triggered for this route, the name of the user who triggered them, the buffer used, the direction of alerts (normal or reverse) and when the alert was deactivated. If no alerts have been triggered for the parameters specified in the search engine, this section will remain empty.
This is followed by the results for each contract on the road, where we can see the sequence number of the contract, the work address, the contract number and an indication of the value of the "Activated alerts" field in the contract's "Occupants" tab. The text "Alerts deactivated" in red means that alerts have been deactivated for this contract only. To enable alerts to be sent to the occupants of this contract, the "Activated alerts" field in the "Occupants" tab must be switched to green.
Below the header is the "Configured alerts" column, which summarizes the contact information for recipients specified in the contract's "Occupants" tab. It begins with an icon indicating the chosen method for receiving the alert which can either be an envelope for e-mail, a cell phone for SMS and a handset for a voice call. The color of the icon and recipient indicates the alert acceptance status. Only those in green have confirmed the acceptance and will receive the alert. Red indicates that the occupant has refused to receive the alert and yellow means that the occupant has not confirmed his or her subscription to alerts yet. It should be noted that, for technological reasons, unconfirmed voice calls (i.e. those in yellow) will also receive alerts, whereas for other communication methods, recipients in yellow will not receive them.
You can see which alerts have been sent, and when, under the "Received alerts" column. Clicking on one of the alerts will redirect you to the visit which triggered it.
The "Visits" column shows the visits made that day for this contract, as well as the name of the operator logged in. If applicable, you can also see the details of the alert sent during one of the visits, i.e. the sequence number and work address, as well as information on the alert recipient.
