Excess Snow
Many of you have a clause to their contracts that specifies a limit to the amount of snowfall beyond which an excess will be charged. The Follosoft platform integrates two functionalities that make it easier in this situation.
Here are the 2 options available to add this excess snow :
Option 1 - Adding a "fixed price" service > add service
In this case, all active contracts will be associated with a fixed-cost service. For more information, see the following article > Assign a service to multiple contracts
Please note that the billing process for Option 1 can be done once or multiple times. For example, you can choose to bill your customers after each snow removal operation or wait until the end of the season and proceed with a single invoice that takes into account all the operations performed.
Option 2 - Adding a "variable cost" service > bill extra snow
With this option, contracts will be associated with a snow removal service whose price will be calculated based on the initial payment using a specific formula. Here's how > Bill extra snow to multiple contracts
Please note that the billing process for Option 2 should be done only once at the end of the season .
