Assign a service to multiple contracts

Many of you may will need to bill a new service at some point during your season. For exemple, if the snowfall exceeds the limit stipulated in a contract, you can now add an extra service fee. To streamline this process, follow these steps :

Step 1 : Add a new service. Ex: extra snow 

1. See following article : create a new service > management > services

Step 2 : Launch a new request 

1. Via the menu : Tools > Batch Operations

1. Click on Create (top right corner).

Step 3 : Target the contracts 

To determine who will receive the new service, follow these steps:

1. Select your criteria 
   
2. Select Add Service > last column on the right hand side, above the next button
   
3. Click next
   

Step 4 : Choose the service to add 

1. Click on the dropdown menu to make your selection.
   

In this exemple, the service "extra cm" was added in the Admin category, in Step 1. Make sure to choose accordingly.

1. Enter the price for this service. Ex: 30$ will be added for the service "extra cm"
   
2. Click execute, on the top right corner

This action will affect 4755 contracts. 

This action is irreversible. Be careful during this operation 😊

Step 5 : Launch the batch operation 

The software will identify all contracts targeted by your request. Your action will change from 'in progress' to 'completed'.

1. Press the button Refresh to execute your request

An excel document is available on the right hand side to see which contracts where targeted by this batch operation.

👏 There you have it, you have just assigned a batch service.
