This option can be used to generate several types of reports, depending on the selection tools chosen. To access it, select Reports > Generator from the menu.
First, select the type of report to be generated from the Data drop-down list.
Once the elements have been selected, you need to decide on the type of document to be produced under Format, at the top right-hand corner of the screen. By choosing Excel, the file generated will contain the appropriate information (depending on the selection under Data) to which will be added the elements chosen under Fields. The latter will be sorted according to the selections made under Order.
By selecting the "Contrats (PDF)" option, the app generates a single file containing the PDF version of all the contracts corresponding to the selection criteria, plus the "Termes et conditions" section for each of them when that particular box is checked. The "Contrats (État de compte)" option creates a single PDF file containing the statements of account for each contract corresponding to the selection criteria used.
Note that when the report generator creates a PDF file, the Fields and Order lists are of no use.
Then simply press Execute to generate the report. In the case of an Excel file, you can save it immediately. In the case of PDFs, an e-mail will notify you of the file's availability and how to access it.
Saved reports
FolloSOFT offers a save function for reports that are to be generated repeatedly. Once you have configured the parameters of a report, click on the floppy disk icon below Rapports sauvegardés, at the bottom of the left-hand column. In the window that pops up, enter the report name and press the button with the disk icon (Save Report).
To view an existing report, select it by name in the Saved Reports list to bring it back into memory, then press Execute.
To delete a report, select it by name in the Saved Reports list and press the red garbage can icon.
