This tool lets you manage users of the FolloSOFT application, for both the web and mobile versions.
To access it, select Management from the menu, then Users. You'll immediately have access to a list of all users. This list will serve as the basis for other lists that will appear in several places in the application, such as :
- in the definition of contract dispatches in the Dispatch tab
- in reports
- in selection filters for multiple tools.
To find a particular user in the list, simply enter a word or part of a word in the Search field.
It is also possible to display only users by filtering by permission. To do this, click on the Permissions drop-down list, then select one or more of the available options (manager, agent, etc.). The list of users will immediately be updated by combining the selections made under Permissions and in the Search field.
To consult user statistics, simply look at the icons to the right of the Permissions list. The number next to the mouse icon indicates the number of users with access to the FolloSOFT web application. The number next to the tablet icon indicates the number of users of the FolloTRACK mobile application.
The navigation tool is on the far right of the list header. Please note that it only appears if the number of users justifies it. By default, a minimum of 11 users is required for the navigation tool to be visible. The arrows allow you to navigate through the list: to the right, to move forward and to the left, to go back. The drop-down list lets you choose the number of users appearing on each page.
For each user in the list, you'll find their type, name and contact information. The green slider button indicates that the user is active and can access the application. The red button indicates an inactive user, who cannot access the application and is not displayed in FolloSOFT's user lists.
When the cursor is over a user's white square, a red trash can icon appears, allowing complete deletion.
To create a new service, click on the User button in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
In the window that appears, select the type of permission you wish to assign to the user.
If the type selected is Mobile (i.e. tablet operator), you can use the drop-down list immediately to the right to specify the user's task more precisely.
The combination of First name and Name fields will be used throughout the application to identify this user. For Mobile users, the phone number and personal identification number (PIN) will be used to identify the user in order to access the FolloTrack application on a tablet. For all other user types, access to the web application is granted with the Username and Password indicated on the form.
If desired, one or more routes can be selected under Routes to indicate that the user will only have access to these routes in FolloTRACK. If no selection is made, the user will have unrestricted access to all routes.
The Use blue dot function lets you specify that an operator's position on the map will be represented by a blue dot if the indicator is green, and by an icon adapted to the type of service (tractor, shovel, etc.) if the indicator is red.
Contracts awaiting completion are identified on the map by their yellow geocoding. The Contract completed color field lets you determine the color a contract will take on when completed.
The order in which contracts are assigned to a route is indicated by the sequence number. A green Show sequence No indicates that the numbers should be displayed on the map for this user; red indicates that the numbers should not be displayed.
Don't forget to save the information.
From the list of existing users, click on the name of the user you wish to modify. If necessary, use the search engine in the Permissions list to speed up identification of the desired user. Make the desired changes, then click Sauvegarder to save the changes you've made.
