DNS Configuration Check (Emails Going to Spam)

DNS Configuration Check (Emails Going to Spam)

It is becoming increasingly difficult to send contracts without them ending up in spam due to bulk sending rules applicable in Canada and the USA. To prevent your broadcasts (emails) from being marked as spam, here are two options available to you.

Option 1 – No domain name:

If you are using a common email provider like Gmail, Hotmail, or Yahoo, etc., FolloSoft will automatically send your emails from an address such as {company_name}@e.follosoft.com. This helps prevent your emails from ending up in spam.

Option 2 – You have a domain name (e.g., info@follosoft.com):

If you already have your own domain name, simply follow these steps to update your email settings:
  1. Validate your DNS configuration by going to the Management Menu > Companies.

  2. A menu displaying the different CNAME records will appear. First, click VALIDATE to sync the latest information and check if the CNAMEs are still invalid. If they are, you will need to configure them with your domain provider (GoDaddy, Bluehost, etc.) by adding the correct CNAME records with the appropriate values.

  3. After entering the correct values, click VALIDATE again and observe the changes. Please note that it may take a few hours for the new configuration to sync with your domain.

These options will help ensure that your emails reach your clients without being blocked by spam filters.
