Create a new user

How to create a portal (web) and tablet (mobile) user.



Creating a New User (Web Portal or Mobile Tablet)

To create a new user, whether it is a Web user (portal) or a Mobile user (tablet), follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Management Menu > Users.
  2. Click on the user icon with the + sign. 
  3. Choose the type of user: Mobile (tablet) or Web Portal (Owner, Manager, Controller, or Agent).

Creating a Mobile User

  1. Select the user’s role from the drop-down menu on the right:
    • Tractor
    • Shoveling
    • Picktes/Staking
    • Abrasive/Spreading
    • Transport
    • Supervisor
    • Garage

This role must be configured in the portal to allow access to the corresponding routes.

2. Routes: Select only the routes you want this employee to have access to.



The login on the tablet is done using the phone number and the PIN created during setup.

Creating a Web Portal User

The options for creating a Web user (portal) are defined as follows:

  • Owner: Has full rights. Complete access to all sections and modification rights.
  • Manager: Access to all sections except Management and Tools.
  • Controller: Access to all sections of the web portal except Management and Tools.
  • Agent: Access to all sections except Management, Tools, and Reports. Does not have access to view monetary totals.

The access is done via your company’s unique URL. The user logs in using the username and password created during account setup. Web users can also have a phone number and a PIN for tablet login, allowing them to access both platforms if necessary. However, you must create a separate user profile with the appropriate parameters for the tablet.

Adjust the settings available on your tablet for better visibility.


Tips

  • After creating a user, the user will receive their login information at the email address provided in the form.
  • Use the last 4 digits of the employee’s phone number as the PIN for simplicity.

Modifying a User

To modify an existing user:

  1. Go to the Management tab and select Users.
  2. Select the user you wish to modify from the list.
  3. Make the necessary changes.
  4. Click on SAVE.
Use the search bar or filter by role to quickly find a specific user.

Deactivating or Deleting a User

  • Deactivate: You can deactivate a user without deleting them by using the status option in the Management - Users tab.
  • Delete: To delete a user, place the cursor over the user’s row and click on the red trash bin icon that appears on the right.
  • Confirm the deletion by clicking CONFIRM and then OK.
